How to Put Scratch Games on Game Jolt

Hey guys! Ever thought about monetizing your games? You can upload your Scratch games on Game Jolt, an indie game platform, and people can buy your games. (Note: Game Jolt currently only allows games. Other types of projects are no allowed.)

An old Scratch user, OmnipotentPotato, created a topic on Game Jolt about how to upload your game. However, you first have to make sure you have a text file program on your computer that can save as a ".html"; most computers with Windows 8 or higher have it.

  1. I'm afraid this is impossible. In this tutorial, you embed the scratch project as an iframe. I don't know if you know html, but iframe puts another website into you webside, and therefore this depends on the fact your project is shared. If you unshare the project, it won't work on game jolt. And selling something that's available on scratch for free is a bad idea. The only thing you can do is upload the .sb2 file to game jolt.

    1. It is possible to upload Scratch Games on Game Jolt. Users such as @Will_Wam have done so. You bring up many good points, but people may choose to upload their games regardless of the availability on Scratch to publicize their games on other platforms and accept donations from supporters since monetization on Scratch is not possible.
