Pros and Cons of Moving Accounts

Here are the pros and cons of moving accounts.

Pros:
  1. Fresh new start
  2. If you had too many followers to be curated, now you have a chance to get curated again, plus your followers will come back too
  3. Honestly not much else; this post is pretty biased since I don't like it
Cons:
  1. Annoying
  2. You lose a lot of followers because some may be inactive
  3. Annoying
  4. We don't like it
  5. Just don't do it
Haha, okay seriously don't move accounts.

  1. I agree! It can sometimes be very hard to remember who is who because everybody is switching accounts. Thank you for making this blog post :)

    1. Yeah! It gets really confusing, and my pleasure! (:

  2. I SO AGREE! Plus people always are trying to be "original indie developers" and they just end up like everyone else in that sense. It usually ends up with 2-3 account switches to different names beginning with the letter 'A'. Aerux and Aveoli are just 2 examples. :/

    1. Yeah. And yo don't say people's names... It's not kind to point out particular people.

  3. I've actually thought about moving accounts, but I've never done it. Mostly because of the reasons stated, but also because my profile has history. I learnt so much in this account that changing accounts just feels like you're throwing away a part of yourself. That got really cheesy...

    1. Honestly I've wanted to move accounts before but stayed for the same reasons; my account and projects are like a timeline of my experience. It's something I'll never let go of.
